What is our plan for the future?
We are exploring either linking our service with mobile money services or allowing an optional mobile transaction payment feature through our service. We are also hoping to add more services to make Jujuz stickier. We are also exploring putting together an “application package” that includes revenue generating applications, such as Jujuz, and health and education applications developed by PING. Our hope is that some of the revenue generated from our for-profit applications can allow the health and education apps to be accessed for free.

FSMS is a South African service that addresses the problem of expensive communication by allowing users to send and receive free ad-supported SMS’s via mobile phones and the web.

To extend mobicanvas so it makes it easy to discover relevant information on any mobile device at any time. The mobicanvas directory of sites already represents schools, community organisations and businesses -- we plan to make these discoverable in an intuitive way. This will add value to the sites and provide valuable information for end users.
What we do
mobifin utilises mobile phone technology to make good quality information available to all, especially those without easy access to conventional computers and books. Our two current initiatives are babysms (a free, sms-based, pregnancy advice service) and a financial education programme in conjunction with a leading insurance company.
